Community Involvement
Getting involved and giving back to our communities is a core company value that is celebrated throughout Interstate Hotels & Resorts' corporate offices and hotels that we manage. The company expects all hotels and corporate offices to give back to the communities in which we operate. It is the company's belief that all associates, who serve others day in and day out, have a critical role to play in our endeavor and to be willing to share of themselves and give back to those who are in need.
Interstate Gives Back is the company's community involvement program at the corporate offices located in Arlington, Virginia and Irving, Texas. The program is focused on giving back in the areas of education, community development (including food and shelter), the environment, and health and well-being.
Interstate operates over 220 hotels in the U.S. and five countries. With 18,500 associates worldwide, the company encourages, recognizes and celebrates the local initiatives and impact associates makes in the communities in which they work and live. As corporate citizens, we are committed to getting involved.
